FLO - Fairtrade Labelling organisation
The international Fairtrade Labelling Organisation is an umbrella organisation for national fair trade labelling initiatives such as Max Havelaar or Transfair. As such, the FLO sets standards for the certification of Fair Trade products. gebana ag works with FLO with regard to certifications dependent on customer demand.
IFAT is the international network of Fair Trade organisations. Membership consists of numerous producers, importers and resellers. gebana ag considers IFAT to be an important organisation, in which we are actively engaged.
The 'Institute of Marketecology' based in Weinfelden (Switzerland) offers quality assurance and certification according to the European Council regulation (EEC 2092/91) on organic production, as well as Bio Suisse, Demeter and other private and public standards. Its operation is accredited, i.e. authorised in accordance with the international standard EN 45011 (ISO 65).
Bio Suisse is the Swiss labelling organisation for organic products. Bio Suisse certification of its products allows gebana to sell these under the well-known 'bud'-Label..
Oikocredit has been a pioneer in development financing and is today one of the largest refinancers in the microfinance sector worldwide. Oikocredit is one of a few ethical investment funds that support development projects in the South and benefit disadvantaged and marginalised people.

The eco centre Langenbruck has developed and implemented ideas for a sustainable future in the areas of renewable energy, environment, education and society generally for over 25 years. gebana ag works with the eco centre in the areas of solar drying and marketing of solar dried tomatoes.
The 'Swiss Forum Fair Trade' is a Swiss platform for fair trade. As such, it serves as a basis for networking and the exchange of ideas, as well as establishing joint positions on current issues. gebana ag actively supports the aims of SFFH. Its members consist of NGOs, traders and certification organisations whose actions are centred around fair trade.
myclimate - The Climate Protection Partnership - enables innovative solutions in climate protection and supports the use of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. This international initiative with roots in Switzerland is one of the leading suppliers of carbon offset schemes. Amongst its clientele are large, medium and small businesses, public authorities, non-profit organisations and event organisers.
