Soak dates in some warm water. Preheat oven to 160 °C top and bottom heat.

Put all dry ingredients in a blender and mix into a homogeneous mass. Add remaining ingredients and blend into an even dough.

Dust the work surface with some flour and knead the dough well.

For shaping, place 1 tbsp of dough in the palms of your hands and form into a cookie. If desired, press an almond into the center.

Bake cookies for about 10 minutes. Let cool well before eating.
