Rinse the jackfruit pieces and pull them apart in a bowl.

Add all the spices, soy sauce and the Sriracha sauce. Mix everything with your fingers to fully coat the jackfruit.

Take a handful of jackfruit and press it together firmly to squeeze out all the liquid. Shape into a ball and flatten it. Set aside. Repeat with the remaining jackfruit mixture.

In a deep plate mix the soy drink and the flour. In a second deep plate mix the breadcrumbs and fried onions.

Dip a jackfruit ball into the liquid mixture and roll it in the breadcrumbs. Repeat a second time to obtain a second layer of breadcrumbs. Do the same with all the balls.

Place the jackfruit nuggets in an air fryer and cook for ten minutes at 180°C. Alternatively, you can use the oven. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Lightly brush with olive oil beforehand. Do not let them burn!
