The avocados that were planned for September are unfortunately delayed and are expected to arrive in the first half of October. As soon as the fruits are on their way, we will inform you via email.
When can I expect my order to be delivered?
Here you'll find the latest delivery information for our fresh fruit and vegetables, updated weekly.
Delivery dates
We expect to ship the baby bananas, scheduled for delivery in October, by mid-October. As soon as the fruits are on their way, we will inform you via email.
The coconuts expected in August have unfortunately been delayed and are now expected to be shipped in mid-September. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as the fruits are on their way.
Why aren't the delivery dates more precise?
We ship our fruit right after harvest, straight over to you without any detours. But we can't say exactly when that is. Nature decides for us when the harvest will be. That's why we allow generous delivery timeframes for our products. And then we wait, together with you and the family farmers, for the perfect time to harvest.
Why does gebana only sell fresh fruit and vegetables by pre-order?
By pre-ordering your fruit, you make it possible for us and for the family farmers to plan ahead. It also means we can avoid importing more fruit than we can sell. It also reduces food waste and saves energy since we don't have to go through the trouble of temporarily storing the fruit. If you had not pre-ordered the fruit, this wouldn't be possible.
Can I change my delivery date?
Our concept requires a certain amount of flexibility on your part. Since precise delivery dates are confirmed just before the fruit is shipped, we’re unable to store orders or delay individual shipments.
What should I do if I'm not home when my order is delivered?
As long as you haven't received a shipping notification from us, you can still provide us with a different shipping address. Unfortunately, once we've notified you that your order has shipped, the address can no longer be changed.
If your order should arrive while you're not home, please ask your neighbours, friends or a family member to accept the parcel on your behalf.
And in the event that we're unable to deliver on time or if there are any delays, we'll send you an email to let you know in good time.
