Whole, unpeeled almonds of the Katha variety. This regional type from the north of Pakistan produces comparatively small kernels with a slightly sweet flavour. Ideal for baking, in muesli or to enjoy on their own.
Store nuts and seeds in a cool, dark place in a tightly closed container. Make sure that the container is as airtight as possible so that moisture is kept away from the nuts. You can also freeze nuts and seeds, which will extend their shelf life by several months.
