Organic as an Opportunity

However, the sale of olive oil on the international market, for example to gebana, is a ray of hope for the farmers. For high-quality extra virgin oil in organic quality they receive by far the best price, says Ruedi Stadelmann and confirms: "The promised price reaches the farmers, we have checked that."

The price is an incentive for the farmers to meet the high requirements for organic and extra virgin quality, even if this involves great efforts. That is why there is currently more organic oil than we can sell here. Together with the association Kamapagne Olive Oil we are now working on ways to be able to purchase more oil in the future.
