Chopped hazelnuts
Organic
Georgia
Roasted, chopped hazelnuts from the Samegrelo region in western Georgia. Our partner Pakka sources the nuts directly from 200 family farmers in the Samegrelo-Zemosvaneti and Kakheti regions of Georgia. Pakka cracks, shells, roasts, and chops the nuts entirely locally, creating jobs and generating income in the region.
Pakka also supports family farmers with knowledge and technical expertise in organic farming. Using demonstration fields, they show farmers how to improve soil nutrient content and promote overall soil regeneration.
The ground hazelnuts from Georgia are ideal for baking and cooking. Please follow the storage instructions carefully, as hazelnuts generally have a short shelf life, and ground hazelnuts spoil even more quickly.
Price Notice
Due to crop failures in Turkey, demand for hazelnuts from Georgia has increased significantly in 2025. This has led to a substantial rise in prices: our purchasing costs are now roughly 60 percent higher than in 2024. We therefore had to adjust our sales price accordingly.
