Macadamia Butter
Organic
Kenya
Roasted macadamia nuts from Kenya are the only ingredient in this nut butter. The butter tastes sweet, nutty and has distinct roasted aromas. It is very runny due to the high fat content of macadamia nuts.
Use & preparation
- Use as a topping for porridge, muesli or pancakes.
- The butter can also be used for baking.
- Use in savoury dishes to thicken and refine sauces, dips or salad dressings.
Storage & shelf life
Once opened, the nut butter will stay fresh at room temperature for about 3 months. If necessary, stir the mixture before eating to restore its creamy texture.

LUCY GIKUU NDWIGA
FARMER FROM KIRIGI, EMBU, KENIA
It would be wonderful if everyone switched to organic farming.
"There is sufficient rainfall in our region to keep the soil well hydrated, creating ideal conditions for farming," says Lucy Gikuu Ndwiga. "Still, rainfall remains one of the key challenges in food production." Lucy and her family grow macadamia nuts, avocados, coffee, and bananas. "In my opinion, organic farming is cost-effective, protects the environment, and promotes human health."
