White Jasmine Rice

Real jasmine rice comes from Thailand and is called Hom Mali, which means white flower. This rice is husked and has a floral aroma. It sticks together very easily after cooking, but Hom Mali should not be confused with sticky rice.
Use & preparation
Preparation (basic recipe for 2 people): Wash ½ cup rice twice, put in a saucepan, add 1.5 times the amount of water, add salt, soak for 10 minutes, then bring to the boil. Immedialtely bring the heat down to medium and let the rice simmer for about 30-40 minutes with the lid on.
