Pre-order or order?

In our online shop, some products can only be pre-ordered. Here is a brief overview of what this means and why it’s a win-win situation.

You will find the yellow order button for all nuts, dried fruits, snacks, chocolate, and supplies. These are all items that we have in stock and will send to you immediately after you place your order.

You will find the green pre-order button for fresh fruit, vegetables, and some selected seasonal products such as olive oil from the new harvest. For these products, we know the approximate delivery month but cannot give you an exact delivery date.

Why pre-order at all?

If we want really good flavour, we have to follow nature's lead, not the other way around. That means you have to wait until fruits and vegetables are ripe and pre-order today what you want to eat months later.

Your pre-orders let us know in advance how much produce we need. This helps us and the farming families plan for the season. As soon as the produce arrives, we just add the prepared shipping documents, close the box , stick the shipping address on it, and off it goes.

All of this ensures extremely efficient logistics, with the fruit coming directly to you. It also eliminates storage, which would consume unnecessary resources and incur high costs.
