We cannot blame customers for this reaction, because when we first received a whole crate from our current partner at the beginning of 2013, we asked ourselves the same question. But we told ourselves: either in the original packaging or not at all.
Later that same year we tried it and were confirmed. Our customers understood the benefits for farmers, the environment and themselves. And they loved the fruits. So much so that we soon expanded our range of fresh fruits from Greece.
Of course not everything always went smoothly. We had to overcome some obstacles and endure setbacks. For example, when the logistics provider in Greece delivered the wrong oranges to us. Or most recently last winter, when the clementines became "puffy" due to heavy rainfall.
Through transparent communication with our on-site partner and with you, it was possible to respond to such incidents and find a good solution for all involved each time. Over the years we have learned so much, taken your feedback to heart and deepened the collaboration with our Greek partners.
There is still room for improvement (see text about the harvest helpers), but also lots of success stories. We look forward to more exciting and instructive years that will bring organic prices to the farmers in Greece and exceptionally fresh and flavoursome fruits to you.
