Organic pomegranates of the Acco variety. These fruits have a thick, durable skin, making them easy to store. The juicy seeds inside have a sweet and sour flavor.
How much is that?
7 kilos is approximately 22-24 pomegranates. The number varies depending on the size of the fruit.
Use & preparation
- Add to your muesli or salads or enjoy on a sandwich.
- Squeeze out the juice and reduce to make a syrup.
Storage & shelf life
Upon receipt, check your pomegranates for bruises or minor damage and consume these fruits first. If you find any mould, remove the affected fruits immediately to prevent it from spreading. Pomegranates can be stored for up to four weeks in a refrigerator or cellar at 4 to 6°C. The fruits may shrivel slightly, but the thick skin keeps the inside juicy and fresh.
