Limes
Organic
Colombia
Order until: 12.04.2026 or 31.05.2026
Our fresh organic limes come from family farmers in the Eje Cafetero region of Colombia. We receive the hand-picked fruits after they are harvested and send them directly to you without storing them.
Limes are much more aromatic than lemons and less acidic. This makes them perfect for summer dishes, unusual drinks and desserts.

Storage & shelf life
Storage
Store citrus fruits in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator or in a cool cellar. Storing the fruit in a warmer place will shorten its shelf life, but will not affect its quality.
To make it last longer, you can also freeze the fruit. To do this, cut it into pieces or squeeze it into juice.
Shelf life when stored in a cool place
1 month
Check your delivery regularly for bruises and minor damage as soon as you receive them. Eat these ones first. If you find mould, remove the affected fruit.
Tip
The skin is also edible, as the fruit is completely untreated.
